About

Past

The original ChatterBox seeds were planted in Estes Park, CO in September of 2008. A chance encounter with a loquacious monkey named Charlie convinced CoreBlox team members of one simple truth: there are lots of interesting social networking conversations going on out there, but no easy way to listen, organize, and respond to them. Charlie asked for only two things in exchange for his wisdom:

1. A lifetime supply of bananas
2. Official ChatterBox mascot status

As you'll see in the photo below, he became an instant part of the team:

Present

The first release of ChatterBox is targeted at the Twitter community. Through a simple interface, ChatterBoxers will be able to cut through the overwhelming flow of daily tweets and focus on the keywords and user handles that they want to see. They can then categorize, prioritize and assign tweets for follow-up. But the fun doesn't stop there- ChatterBoxers will be sure to love the first-of-its-kind participation feature which allows a ChatterBox to be shared and collaborated on with anyone. There are no restrictions on the number of people who can share your ChatterBox, and the people you share with do not need to be part of your company or organization. We're very excited about the open nature of the ChatterBoxes, and we can't wait to hear about all the unique ways people will use and benefit from them.

Future

Using ChatterBox for Twitter is great, but why stop there? Soon we'll be bringing other popular social networks into the ChatterBox world. Services like Facebook, LinkedIn, GetSatisfaction, and Yelp are all overflowing with topics, conversations, and people of interest. What if you could monitor, categorize, prioritize, collaborate on, and respond to them the ChatterBox way? The possibilities are endless, and so is our commitment to delivering these capabilities to our ChatterBoxers.
